This honor- ary group was originated eleven years ago by the Tarkiana '27. The members of previous years, who are still in school, and a faculty advisor choose the new members each year. Members are chosen as follows: two for scholarship, two for athletics, one for debate, one for oratory, and one for dramatics. This year there was no outstanding debator or actor, and the scho- larship group was so close, that three were chosen to represent the brains. So we offer only six new members. She justly deserves the honor for her record at Tarkio College has been full of many and varied accomplishments. Editor of the Torch, active in Y. W. C. A., Kappa literary society, music organizations and activities, an honor student--all these are in- dicative of her versatile personality and charming self. Bettyis interest in other people and her enjoyment of life in general are perhaps the 'EWG characteristics We Will remember longest. This year marks the second appearance of the Who's Who in the Tarkiana. The organization is national in scope and Was originated for the purpose of introducing honor students of colleges and universities to the business World. The quota from Tarkio College Was c'hosen from the Senior class by a faculty committee. The six outstanding members are all Worthy. If the reader should ask us, as did Mr. Kyle, concerning the case, Isn't this an honor? We shall reply with Mr. Hutchison, Yes, indeed !
