1938, THE TARKIANA lfLlflL0'C.4 CLASS OF '39 s Three short years have come to a close.' In retrospect it seems as if we had literally Toar-n through them. In many ways these three years have been more than a trip along the rocky road to 'our goal, a college education. While We have always had our goal in mind, yet, We have been guided through pleasant paths such as extra curricular activities, paths which have brought us in contact with the older minds of Tarkio College who have instilled in us part of the traditions upon which Tarkio College is founded. In these years the gods have smiled sweetly upon us, and have seen fit to reward our efforts with champion- Ships in track and football, success in dramatics, music and this Tarki- ana. But no more of looking back, we are ready for the years ahead. Look to them! Page twenty
