In a Tarkington Annual of some ten years ago, the Superintendent asked, Ten years from now, what? Today, it is a pleasure to answer that question. Tarkington School enrollment has increased by one hun- dred, nine additional teachers have been employed and a supervisor visits regularly. A large modern brick high school building and an agriculture building have replaced the old wooden struc- tures. The entire plant is furnished and equipped with the best and most modern that can be had. Tarkington has made tremendous advancements in every area. The school is keeping pace with the better schools in the state. 1958-1959 is one of Tarkington's best years. More and a better quality of learning is being experienced. It is my hope that these experiences will make the future years happier and more successful. My congratulations to Mrs. Ener and the Annual Staff for a job well done. Sincerely, Z
