The 1970 Tar-Bo-Rah is dedicated to a faculty member who is definitely an important part in the lives of the students of Tarboro High School. Through her guidance, the complex world of math, an over¬ whelming challenge to so many of us, becomes a fascinating subject of study for even the slowest student. Seniors on the verge of smashing a slide rule in disgust, find that with her help the most dif¬ ficult problem becomes easier. To all of her often bewildered students, her patience and understanding provide reassurance. In addition to her role in the classroom, she is an irreplaceable advisor for the Junior Class. Many Junior-Seniors of the past would have suffered had it not been for her leadership. She is ready when needed to offer advice and suggestions on all problems - from the biggest construction job to the minute details in the scenery. Her faith in their ability always gives the juniors the last little push they need to finish their preparations just in time. So it is to a person of never-ending patience, knowledge, and understanding, we, the 1970 Tar- Bo-Rah staff, dedicate our annual to MRS. CHAR¬ LOTTE FORREST.
