The annual staff of the 1969 TAR-BORAH wishes to recognize the man who is the hub of all activity at our high school. This hard-working individual is faced with the complex job of co-ordinating the efforts of the school board with those of the faculty. Students and teachers encountering any type of problem immediately seek help or advice from this man whom they well know to be the top authority. In addition to all the paper work and records that keep him busy in his office, this man is relied upon to perform innumerable other services when the needs arise. His sense of loyalty to our school and to his work has many times taken him extremely beyond the call of duty. His authority and guiding influence daily reach every student and faculty member at this school. Therefore, for his indispensable service and for the benefit and progress of Tarboro High School, we, the annual staff, respectfully dedicate our 1969 TAR-BO-RAH to our principal, Mr. O. H. Forrest. 6
