State of North Carolina County of Edgecombe Town of Tarboro Tarboro High School We, the senior class of the year nineteen hundred and fifty-one, being of sound and crammed mind and having a well -trained memory, do hereby declare this to be our last will and testament: ARTICLE I To these members of the faculty, we leave as follows: To Mr. Mahler: we leave our congratulations for his many years of loyal service with this school and we hope that he will have many more. To Mr. Wetzel: we leave a student body that appreciates all the wonderful things that he has done for them. To Miss Hales we leave our many thanks for her efforts in trying to prove to us that we were growing up. To Mr. Wolfe we leave a football team that will always prove worthy of his guidance. ARTICLE II TO THE JUNIORS, we leave our privileges and hope that they will never do anything to make the school board even think about taking them away from them. TO THE SOPHOMORES, we leave the realization that you are growing up and soon will be on your own. TO THE FRESHMEN, we leave the realization that the first leg of the long, hard journey is done and the small hills have been passed, but with a little hard work, you can turn this rocky road into a smooth one. ARTICLE III To certain students I, Billie Bateman, do will and bequeath my daintiness to Betty Johnson. I, Edna English, do will and bequeath my athletic ability to Carolyn Kara I, Estelle Osborne, do will and bequeath my flirtatious ways to Shirley Roberson. I, Daisy O ' Neal, do will and bequeath my love for dancing to Catherine Taylor. I, Bobby Clark, do will and bequeath my athletic ability to Carolyn Karn I, Barbara Jean Clark, do will and bequeath my bashfulness to Margueritte Johnson. I, Jimmy Thomason, do will and bequeath my way with girls to Philip Koonce. I, Mae Hathaway, do will and bequeath my dignified ways to Jo Ann Meeks.
