Mr. Bruneau, at first, appears to be an awesome, note-taking educator, who is determined to stunt our scholastic attainment, through his battery of tests, questions, and reports. But, with the hindsight we now possess, we can say that he did not hinder our educational progress, rather, he cultivated and nurtured it. He has played a large part in our success as students and will continue to do so with other students who will follow us. He taught us to be responsible and mature, education's most valued lesson. We thank him for his undying dedication to our education. Therefore, we wish to dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Vernon Bruneau in admiration of and in respect for his knowledge and his loyalty to the purpose of education. Rather than dwell on this, I would like to offer the following statement. by John Gardner, former Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare which combines logic with an excellent philosophy. “The Society which scorns excellence in plumbing because it is a humble activity and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy because it is an exalted activity will have neither good plumbing nor good philosophy, neither it’s pipes nor it’s theories will hold water.” Charles R. How you tried to make it work, Did you really think it could, How you tried to make it last, Did you really think it would, Like a guest who stayed to long, It's finally time to leave, Take it calmly and serene, It's the Famous Final Scene. It's been coming on so long, You were just the last to know, It's been a long time since you've smiled, Seems like oh so long ago. Now the stage has all been set, And the nights are growing cold, Soon the winter will be here, And there's no one warm to hold. Now the lines have all been read, And you knew them all by heart, Now you move towards the door, Here it comes the hardest part, Tie a handle on the road, Feeling different, feeling strange, This could never be arranged.
