WILLIAM A. JULIEN MESSAGE FROM GUIDANCE OFFICE Acquiring an education is said to be easier than making successful use of it. But now that you, as seniors, graduate, we do not fear for your success. If you will do your work, what- ever it is, to the best of your abilities, you shall succeed. There i s so little competition for those who give unstintingly of themselves. The only mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearful of making one. Mistakes are remedied not in having regrets, but in being thankful for having learned. Only by making mistakes can we improve. We are proud to have had you at Tantasqua as earnest students and will be even prouder of you as alumni. WALTER E. SCOTT SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE Ideals are moving goals, always ahead on the road that one travels. It is not so much the realization of ideals that matters—realized ideals may prove only that they have been too small or too low. What matters is that one has kept moving toward them, slowly, steadily, perhaps stubbornly. The boys and girls in this school who have achieved the distinction of being called outstanding students realized their goals through steady perseverance, day by day, year by year.
