R. B. STAPLETON Superintendent, Ta maqua Schools Hr. Stapleton has liecn superintendent of the Tamaqua Schools since 1948. Before that he was principal of Tanlaqua Senior High School from 1927 to 1948. He graduated from Ylifllinhurg High School, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bucknell University, and his Masters Degree from Columbia University. He has many interests-school activities, the Rotary Club, church work, fishing. and school athletics. He has been Honorary President of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic As- sociation since 1948.
