Thank God For Fridays There you are in class and you don't ever mind. You and your friends are getting rowdy. There's so much to look forward to: the band at lunch, the game after school, the party at night, and being able to sleep in. At last the freedom of the weekend is about to happen. In every class the students are noisy and excited. No one pays attention to the teacher and everyone shouts and laughs. Some students cut class, some just leave early. Everyone anticipates the last bell. And when it finally rings, it's never loud enough. But it's the relief we've all waited for for five long days. Thank God it's Friday! V Monda Mornings At Tam Alrightl Here we go again, playing some of that rock and roll for the fantastic youll The alarm goes off and some obnoxious disc jockey starts screaming in your ears. So your hand slaps around the bed table to hit your clock's off button. Well, you hit something, but it was your glass of water and now it's all over the homework that you didn't finish. As you fall back onto your pillow, too tired to get up, you upset the entire bed board book shelf and all of its contents end up in your lap. So you struggle to unbury yourself you realize that your clock is ,...... .....--i l fl ff fl H X IH!-V7 MONDAYS I . i' l l slow and you're already twenty minutes late! Now you're at school, your eyes are still half closed, and your breath is bad. Students are sleeping in class, no one studied or did his homework.
