Dragonkltes, butterfly k1tes, and spr1ng posters set the theme for the sopho more class party of 1953 Our sophomore year ended w1th a skat1ng party at H1negarders skat1ng rlnk. Mystery, murder, and looklng for Arch1e's pet turtle made our Jun1or class play Home Sweet Hom1c1de memorable A wmtry settmg was used for the party. Every square dancer 1n the communlty showed up for the barn dance 1n a real barn even when rt was rarnmg pltchforks. Thrs nlcely padded our savmgs for the prom All the Jumors and senlors took a trlp to a Hawa11an ball room on May 17, 1954. The palm trees, beach background, band stand hut, and colorful streamer ce1l1ng set a gala mood. We put dark clrcles under everyones eyes w1th our two n1ght prom. As august senlors we have gone through the annual 3Ct1V1t1CS of 1n1t1at1on of freshmen, senlor party, class play, and sk1p day. We were guests of theJun1ors at a beaut1fu1ly decorated prom. Practices found the boys wrestling everyone including Mr. Bunting. As a relaxer the mat slappers went to watch the goon ballers practice. Tama did not qualify any Wrestlers for the state match.
