They do daily battle with soot on the paintvvork, move hugh quantities of fleet freight, personnel, general Stores, and mail with great speed, finesse, and little or no confusion during unreps. They also play a big part in handling the rigs, which provide fuel requirements for all types of ships, often providing these services simultaneously to ships on both sides. First Division is responsible for the upkeep and appearance of the forward half of the ship. This division. is jointly responsible with Second Division for care, maintenance and operation of TALUGA's fueling rigs. These rigs, which provide our most vital product to customers must constantly be maintained in order to provide for a safe transfer during fueling at sea operations.
