Class History In l9b0, we started our Journey to the goal line that we have been struggling so hard to reach Some of us reached it and some did not We find our trip to be a hard one but an enJoyable trip The trip was a slow one but of course we d1dn't use any gasoline We walked along slowly and did the work to the best of our ability We finally reached the goal to be an honorable Senior of 1952 fron 'Good Taloga High' We started off our first grade with the following Robert Rogers, Carter Steers Leon Ward Milfred Wiess Darrell Stinson, Patricia Boatlan lelda Coyle, Charleen Gardner Ethel Koehn Roma Ioehn Ruby Lewelling Peggy Lovett, Marion Stover Joan Saxelid Gail Saxelid Betty Mays, Billie Covington, Leroy Ferrell Jackie Jickson Elmer Lewelling and Elmer North Our teacher was Mrs Hilton who helped us through the first grade and passed us to the second the tins the second year rolled aroun the following decided to leave us Billie Covington Leroy Ferrell Ethel Ioehn Marion Stover and Betty Mays, we gained the following to take their place Jill Carter Wayne King, Betty Ward, Ruth Bishop Pauline Ferguson Velma Houry Patsy Todd and Jeffie Peary The same teacher worked with us again the third grade, we lost llner Lewelling, llner lorth Robert Rogers, Milfred Weiss, Wayne King Betty Ward Patricia Boatman Ruth Bishop, Ruby students Joined our ranks Iendel Kouns Ila Engle Barbara Johnson and Dixie Gastineau the fourth grade we lest Darrell Stinson Jackie Jackson and Dixie Gastineau but we gained Sella Stephenson the fifth grade we gained Ray Hermanski, Dixie Bailey Virginia Warren but lost Jimmie Carter, Velma Houry Ruth Livingston Jean Saxelid and Selma Stephenson entered the sixth grade and gained: Gene Webb Vera England, Gaylene Mathews, and Ruth Livingston moved back but we lost Ray Hermanski Rona Ioehn, and Virginia Warren Going forward to the seventh grade we fou d that we had lost Gene Webb Dixie Bailey Vera England and Ruth Livingston low we have reached the happy years of Juhior High Being in the eighth grade we were all happy because we were to graduate from grade school to a Freshman This year Janes lnyart Juaquin Calkins, and Eugene Jones joined the trip we were taking Ila lngle left to Join a group in Oklahoma City At last we progressed to being 'Green Freshman ' yes, we were green but we were all as happy as could be We started off our highschool years with s bang We were initiated the second week of school More fun! wearing old onion and garlic necklaces we smelled like Sir Skunk For our Annual Highschool Basketball Qneen Contest we elected Juaquin Calkins In this year we started playing ball Those who went out for all sports were: Jean Batchett, Dixie Gastineau, Juaquin Calkins lheta Hulstt, Ruth Ann Cline, lolda Coyle Barbara Johnson, Dennis Meyer lugene Jones, Carter Steers, Leon Ward Ronald leroer, and Iendel Kouns By 0 3 Ia , Lewlling, Gail Saxelid, Patsy'Todd, an Jeffie Peary.
