Manhood -- Woman hood The highest senior award. Selected by Honor Society and faculty members. The final surprise at Awards Day. The two most accomplished, most admired and most respected students in the senior class. Marty johnson and Curt Chafin -- each especially known for his ability to get along with his fellowman. Marty was the second girl in Tallmadge history to serve as Student Council president. Circle Light business manager. Two demanding jobs. Curt, strong academically, was a Student Council member and a soccer player. Voted by his peers Asa Most Likely To Succeed. Both chosen for their senior Prom court, Marty selected to reign as Queen. pair they received the Chrysler Youth Award. Marty plans to attend Miami University. Curt begins the ordeal of pre-med. Circle Light Royalty Second most-coveted award presentedto Debbie Engle and Kevin Keel, each chosen for their outstanding service. Leading Tallmadge cheers for five years, active in Pep Club, Student Council, NHS, and class Valedictorian, Debbie rightfully earned the title HQueen. An exceptional band member, winner of the john Phillip Sousa Award, president of band, MMM, NHS, simultaneously, Kevin proved the perfect candidate. A reward for many hours of dedicated hard work. l I Danforth Recipients Award winners, Frank Fedorovich and julie Lythgoe. Participated and excelled in similar areas. Academically outstanding, both in the senior Top Ten. Buckeye Boys' and Cirls' State delegates class officers. Julie, industrious Devil's Tale editor, Tallmadge Voice of Democracy contest winner, third place in Summit County, excellent choice for VVho's Who Of American High School Students. Frank, spotlights on Academic Challenge- I active two years in Student Council and NHS, member of the cross country team. Two accomplished and deserving students. I
