Highlighted by three Metro selections - outstanding pitcher, Ed Franks, batters Greg Goodson and Randy Lloyd. Batting average reaches a new low. Coodson and Lloyd lead hits, each with a total of 21. Bob McCrackin and Bill Kirkwood earn Metro Honorable Mention. Tied for starting pitcher position were Franks and Emmel with 7 games. Batting department headed by Goodson with 16 runs and 7 steals. Baseballers end with 11-10 season and 6-4 in Metro for third place.
