PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE To the Seniors of 1961; It is indeed my desire that each of you through your activities and experi- ences at Talbot County High School, will be better prepared to meet the prob- lems of life. I hope that the course of study here is constructive and shall so enrich your lives that you will be happier and more successful in your endeavors after leaving us. Let us ever be mindful of the fact that it is our duty as American citizens and residents of Georgia and Talbot County, to do our part and accept our re- sponsibility in making this a better county, state and nation in which we live. I would like to congratulate you and your sponsor for the splendid work you have done on this year's annual. I have enjoyed my work with you in Talbot County High School and wish to compliment you on your fine school spirit, excellent cooperation and good be- havior.

SUPERINTENDENTS MESSAGE Dear Seniors: I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to you for suc- cessfully completing your high school education. Indeed, this is a distinct achievement which required much time and effort on your part. Even more important is the fact that it opens an avenue of op- portunity for further study. This is a matter that deserves your deep- est consideration, because you will be living in a society which re- wards those most who prepare themselves for a vocation or profession.
