0p%iKctfial 7?te44 z?4. To the Seniors of 1956: My heartiest congratulations go out to you for completing high school this year. There Is no end to education. No matter what you plan to do after you complete your course of study here, you will still go on learning and working hard to do it. May I suggest that you choose wisely in directing this learning proc- ess toward desirable goals. You will need to be well informed to live in, and understand the big world of today. Education can do much to prepare you for the breath-taking experiences of our fast moving age. Your ultimate success will depend upon how well you adapt yourselves to the surroundings in which you find yourselves, also your ambitions. Ambition is the drive behind you. Do not become discouraged when things seem to go wrong, because the worth of a per- son is measured to a great extent by his ambition, courage and willingness to try again. You will per- haps face many discouraging problems in your future experiences. However, I hope that you will always remember that ambition is required in order to suc- ceed. Sincerely, C. A. Reynolds

SufivUnteHctent Dear Seniors, This Is my message to you: First, that you learn to love and not to hate. Ha- tred hurts only you and not the person you hate. Second, that you learn to criticize constructively, not destructively. Destructive criticism tears down while constructive criticism lays the foundation for progress in all walks of life. Third, that you leam to think wisely before mak- ing decisions, but once you have made your decisions stick by them unless you are convinced that they are wrong. Fourth, that you read and study your Bible daily, always remembering that the Bible is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway. Sincerely, Mrs. G. L. Carter
