superintendent Survival through Education is a slogan we must all adopt. Only by raising the educational training level of our citizenry, can we hope as a nation to perpetuate our democratic way of life. In acomplishing this end, our government will be better able to successfully combat the evils of communism. I challenge the seniors to seek further training, enabling them to become better trained citizens of tomorrow. I challenge the undergraduates to avail themselves of their educational opportunities so that you will have a better foundation for the task ahead following completion of your training in Tahoma High School. principal You now go out to meet the challenge in life which now includes the far reaches of the universe. Meeting this challenge will be determined by the extent to which you understand that this graduation is not the end of your education. I take this last opportunity to implore you to continue to study and learn and educate yourselves privately, for there is now great urgency to make more efficient use of our resources, of which YOU and our students to follow are the greatest.
