Senkfi (Jlagg flighty We have now finished four years of high school wnich we are really sorry to see come to an end. We all seem to be happy to get out but will miss our teachers, the activities, our classmates, and friends. We started out our Freshman year 47 strong. We escaped Freshman initiation but didn't escape all the strange things that were happening. Everything was new and different to us. Our first activity of the year was a skating party which was a huge success. Several of our class members were selected for roles in the all-school play, A Date with Judy . Officers this year were Tom Nickell, President; Stuart Fetters, Vice-President; Gary Habenicht, Secretary; Bert Hedin, Treasurer. Mr. Jensen was our adviser. We also selected our class flower and colors which are Blue and White and White Carnation. By the end of the year we were only 44 in number and we ended the year with a picnic at Lake Meridian. In our Sophomore year we gained two again and came back as 46. We started out this year with a big crash by giving the first skating party of the year. Our Sophomore year kept us busy, too. Again we had quite a few members in the all-school play, The Night of January 16 . By the end of the year we were only 42 in number. Officers this year were Tom Nickell, President; Bert Hedin, Vice-President; Gary Habenicht, Secretary; Florence Harshfield, Treasurer. Mr. Jensen again was our class adviser. We ended the year with a class picnic at Lake Meridian. Forty-three of us came back for our Junior year. We again gave a skating party during the first semester. The highlight of the year was the Junior-Senior Prom which was held at Lake Wilderness. Our class again had a great number in the all-school play, Our Miss Brooks . We ended the year with a picnic at Lake Wilderness. Officers this year were Larry LeGrande, President;Ron Eberle, Vice-President; Kathy Tanner, Secretary; Kay Allen, Treasurer. Mr. Boesel was our adviser. Thirty-five came back for our final year. It wasn't long until we were only 32 in number. The first thing we did was initiate and welcome the Freshman into the school that we will be leaving soon. On December 16, we gave very successfully our Senior Play entitled, Quit Your Kidding . It was a three-act comedy and everyone enjoyed it. We also had a good representation in the all-school play, The Perfect Idiot . In the spring we went on our Senior Sneak and on June 6, 1956 we walked down the aisles for Graduation. Officers in our Senior year were Jim Burroughs, President; Ken Maxwell, Vice-President; Beth Webb, Secretary; Gary Lay, Treasurer. Mr. Boesel again was our adviser. This is the end of our high school days. We now have to go out into the world and lead our own lives whether we go on to school or get a job. We want to thank the faculty, students, parents, and friends who have made our graduation possible from such a wonderful school. -22—
