inidtra ti on LLOYD H. PRIEBE Su„ erintendent A m e a Aa 9' To the Class of 1953: For the past four years of your high school education we have attempted to provide the best of facilities and to create a desirable environment for learning. We hope all of you have attained your full measure of learning and that your life will be much happier and your ideals much higher than they were at the beginning of your high school experience. In years to come when you finally attain your desired station in life, we trust you will be able to attribute many factors of your well-being to TaHoMa. Principal W, eAAaye The year 1952-53 has witnessed quite a change in the curriculum as well as the appearance of TaHoMa High School. The building program has provided us with a splendid, well-lighted woodshop abundantly equipped with power tools. We are now able to offer a more varied school shop program. The plant expansion has also provided us with a large new classroom which will be used by our new full-time English and Journalism instructor, Mr. Ziegner, to stimulate a greater interest in these subjects. We are pleased, too, that due to the addition of Mr. Duxbury to our staff we were able to add a foreign language to our course of study. We regret that our graduating seniors could not have had these facilities for a longer part of their school life. However, as we build our school bigger and better, may they have greater reason to be proud of their Alma Mater. OREN C. JENSEN 5
