PRINCIPAL The door of knowledge is labeled Push, As the 1959-1960 school year comes to a close, I hope that T, H, S. has rendered every service possible toward providing the student body with a portion of that desired knowledge. May T. lI.S. always render the type of training that will prepare young citizens for the future as well as for the present. May the student body realize that the future belongs to those who prepare for it, and the student body mustdiligentlygive their time and effort to help make T. ll. S. the educa- tional medium for which it is intended. The 1959-1960 yearbook will aid you in perpetuating the happiest days of your life by preserving pleasant memories and treas- ured items of T. H. S. May the most in success and happiness be yours. SUPERINTENDENT Education isacompanion which no mis- fortune can decrease, no crime, destroy, no enemy, alienate: no despotism, enslave: at home, a friend, abroad, an introduction, in solitude, a solaceg in society, an orna- ment. lt chastens vice, guides virtue, and gives grace and government to genius. Education may cost financial sacrifice and mental pain, but in both money and life values itwill repay every cost one -hundred- fold.
