JUNIVI VARSITY Tahoe rtiruclcee High, June, i955 With two undefeated years behind them, the Junior Varsity loolced torward to still higher scores with President Erwin Single, Vice- President Roger Holhroolc, Secretary Duane Pomin, and Treasurer Virginia Speeter calling signals. As Coach ot the Junior Varsity. Mr. Norman Dewhurst proceeded to teach them U. S. His- tory and tfnglish. With the guidance ot the Coach and the determination ol' the team, two successtut dances were sponsored. lhe. themes were Hernando s Hideaway , J, and mlihe 'lirod ot the Mad Padn. During the month ol May. the team made rl trip hy has to the hay area with a tour ol the University ot California at Pxertxeley a special attraction ot the journey. 467' Prom, held at the Riverside Hotel in 'z' Reno. 'tio carry out the theme ot ulwloonlight and Roses were Am- erican Beauty Roses while the , hand played' Hlvloontight and rl-'lf' -J I W ARSIT Y Tahoe Vliruclcee High, June, i950 A determined Varsity team pushed its way to its linal and hig- gest victory ot the season. Some ot the outstanding players who helped to lead the team to victory were President Roger Holhroolc, Vice-President Mick Hogan. Secretary .lim Crawtord, and Treasurer tfvelin Stinchtield. The Varsity Coach tor the year '55-,50 was lVlr. trranlc Ratlill, who conducted challc tatlcs on Senior prohlems and Calilvornia Government. The thirst play ot the game was a dance, mlihe House ot Blue Lights . given in the school caleteria. The second time the Varsity carried the hall, they marched down the tield with Dayu and scored another victory. The Varsity now laces the Tour- nament ot' Champions in the great game ot lite. Competing and co- opcrating with the many opponents and teammates to he met in their lutures, these experienced players will surety play the game with the spirit ol true sportsmanship.
