F. A. BAUMAN Student Body Treasurer MISS PHYLLIS POULIN Student Body Bookkeeper S'IlJlllf1lI'l' ll0llY WITH a rap ot the gavel, the attention ot the Associated Student Body is called to order by President Ellis Snyder: and the minutes ot the last Ad Board meeting are read by the secretary. As the constitution used tor the preceding year could not till the present needs, partially caused by the extensive expansion in the student body, it was revised, and several new amendments were added. Formerly, the student body representatives were known as Ad Board members: but a new amendment was passed changing that name to the one ot representatives. The qualitications allowing the sports managers to earn their letters were revised so that any chance ot partiality or tavoritism will be eliminated in the tuture. A tew years ago the need tor an assembly manager was realized by the Administrative Board: so one was appointed. However, no mention was made ot the step in the constitu- tion. This year, in order to make this step lawtul, an amend- ment was passed giving the Associated Student Body Rep- resentatives power to appoint an assembly manager and to state his powers. Also, a rule was passed making it necessary tor any class wishing a date on the school calendar to till out an application blank to be signed and counter-signed by the class president and adviser. This was then submitted to the student body president, and a vote was taken as to whether it was advisable to grant the request or not. Many other changes were made in the constitution so that it be- came much more applicable to the present needs ot the student body. Ellis Snyder, president tor two semesters, proved himselt ex- tremely capable and able to carry the responsibilities ot such an important position: and it is with a teeling ot having accomplished something worth while that the Administrative Board closes the year, knowing, however, that without the assistance given by the 'Faculty and the co-operation shown by the students that it would not have had a successtul year. 44 20 by
