Foreword Excitement, too, rose and fell many times during the year. There was a constant build-up of excitement throughout football season, which was climaxed with the defeat of Bishop, who has been a perennial State Quarter Finalist. The band members won’t forget the excitement of winning a First Division in the Uni- versity Interscholastic League Contest, nor will the basketball team forget the thrills of winning the district play-off, and report card time was exciting for some and disappointing to others. Finally, the Junior-Senior Prom came with all its splendor, and then the whole year was climaxed with graduation night.
