The Senior Class of 1957-58 proudly dedicates this Tracks to Mr. Woodroe Petty for his patience with us and his understanding of our complaints and problems in and out of the class room. In his ten years as teacher and coach he has inspired us to do better in our studies even as he has inspired his teams to think with their heads and play with their hearts. Byprecept and example he has helped us to be better students, better athletes, and better citizens.

H. E. MASSEY It is a real pleasure for me to be able to participate in your Fiesta theme for your annual this year. We can truly feel we are having a Fiesta when we think of our school and participate in school activities in the right frame of mind. Our school exists for the purpose of helping the students of Taft in any and all ways that help can be given.
