CN., A 2. .P 4 It would seem rather a difficult task to fit a message to the theme ofthis year's TRACKS, since life itself is so much more than a carnival However, if we can keep in mind the work, care, and love that must go into the making of a carnival, perhaps we can realize the enjoy ment that the carnival in its entirety symbolizes. It is my earnest wish for this year's graduating class that each senior has learned and will remember to blend work, care, and love into the myriad of life's tasks sothat the burdens will lighten themselves and the joys and bless- ings be appreciated. I am always sincerely glad of the opportunity to speak to you, the student body, through this medium. It is good to be able to let you know that we, the older generation, feel that our nation will be in good hands when it comes time to lay the responsibility on your shoulders. It is our hope that we, your teachers, administrators, and friends, have been of some assistance in helping you to prepare for this responsibility.
