Taking A Closer Look at school life was the primary aim of this year's Talisman Staff. We strove to present student activities with originality and in an ar- tistic manner. The staff consisted of eighteen members and was supervised by Mr. Myron Aufranc. We would like to thank Mr. Aufranc for his time, fine photography, and expert advice. We wish to give special thanks to Cheryl Reiff, business manager, for doing a tremendous job in advertising and for designing the yearbook cover. We would also like to acknowledge Sheryl Peetz, art editor, for her contributions to this year's book. The purpose of the paper is to enlighten the students to school news, sports, and opinions. Students in- volved work several days a week to produce this weekly paper. As well as writing and editing, other areas offered are advertising, business management, artists, typing and photography. The paper offers a chance to gain experience in journalism and gives students a taste ofthe production of a newspaper.
