Taft tradition is indeed something of which we can be proud. It is the legacy of previous students and a challenge to the present students. The descriptive terminology used generally reflects the school's program, faculty, and students. For years, Taft High School has been blessed with a most competent staff. The school's program has been in the operating realm of excellence. Perhaps, the biggest asset at Taft is the student body. Taft is YOU. You are what makes things go. As you travel these memorable pages, you once again will see the fine quality of the Talisman staff. The story of pictures will unfold to you Taft High School of 1972-1973. It might be a story of happiness as Taft won over Garfield in football, a story of sadness in defeat, a story of self pride for being involved, or a story unknown whose label you must attach.
