HOMECUMI G 1973 Homecoming Court f Back row: Liz Burton, Queen-Chris Lazares, Nancy Ryan. Front row: Susan Hall, Sue Durbin, Kathy Poe, Margie Ryan. One of the most memorable events of any school year is Homecoming. The 1972-73 Homecoming activities proved to be most successful. The theme, Raindrops'l, was well por- trayed by umbrellas and streams of silver raindrops hung from the ceiling. At the Coronation of Miss Chris Lazares in the annual school assembly, Mark McCormick, a tri- captain of the football team, crowned and kissed the queen. Marlon Dixon, another tri-captain, presented Queen Chris with a bouquet of roses. The traditional Homecoming parade added to the color and festivity of the weekend. The spirit cars and floats revealed the extent of student par- ticipation. The class of '75 was awarded the trophy for the best float. Chris and her court presided over the Homecoming football game. The Lancaster Gales were the Tigers' opponents and there was a good sized crowd in spite of the rain. Attendance was good at the dance which ter- minated the exciting weekend. The entertainment provided by the teachers and the orchestra was excellent. Escorts-Left to Right: Stanley Miller, Greg Swinney, Mark Bowling, Greg Hoes, Maurice Goebel. Rob Wile, Bill Turner.
