Autumn for most schools means home- coming with all its fun and festivities, but since this year was Taft's' first, we could not celebrate the return of old grads. ln- stead the Holiday Debut served as an excit- ing climax to the Tigers' first gridiron season. After hectic weeks of building floats, choosing a court, and planning an assembly, the preparations were completed iust in time. When Friday came, everything was ready. The queen was chosen and crowned in an impressive ceremony and the same evening a colorful parade accompanied our first football victory The week end, which wound up with a dance the next evening, could not have been more wonderful.
