I commend the Staff of the Talisman for their endeavors in behalf of high standards for our school. 1u...., ' The first year at Taft High School has been enjoyable and successful, even though there were many problems, new adjustments to make, and hours and hours of hard, tiring work. The community, pupils, and school personnel all contributed much to make this first year outstanding. We are extremely proud of the many and unusual accomplishments of this first year and look to the future for even greater improvements. We hope that this school will always give the pupils the best possible preparation for life and that the student body and everyone associated with it will always be proud to have been a part of Taft Senior High School.
