This first year was rough going sometimes, but each student strived to help build a better Taft for the future years. Many times our hopes were downcast but the spark of Tiger Spirit was always present, helping Taft to move forward. We have accepted the trust and responsibility of this building, and have carried it out to the best of our ability in social activities, sports, and scholarship. To the future Taft students we entrust this school with the significance it was given to us.
