M DIVISION M DIVISION is responsible for main- taining the ship's propulsion units. The division is composed of Machinist's Mates and Boiler Technicians. Deep down in the heart of the ship these MM's and BT's generate all the ship's power. The BT's burn the fuel to heat the water, to make the steam, to turn the wheels, that pushed the mighty T across the Atlantic, around the Med. and back home.
