N ,,.,...-1-. H15 A Y I -izl' C V rj In 1938, eight of the twenty-five seniors started their first day of School together at the old Tabor grade school. Those eight arerRobert Shoe- maker, Donna Rae Kempton, Harriette Lybarger, Ramona Dyke, Donald Queen , Bud Wolkins, Carolyn Whitney and Twila Bell. As we went through our memor -filhd grade school days we gained twenty new members. Those that began our fresh- man year and are still with us are: Ben Suhr, Richard Bass, Jeannette White- hill, La Vern Knierlm, bruce Blachburn, Robert Morrow, Merril Brandt, Jerry Smith, Earl Barber, Robert Boone, Eleanor Bateman, Duane Mintle, Joe Hetzel, Larry DuVal, Wendell Dunsdon and Gwen Asman. During our last year of Junior high we gave our 8th grade play, nwatch Out for Spooksn a great success. Our class picnic was held the last day of school in the State Park. As we entered High School the next September we began to wonder if wehad been ngraduatedu or ndemotedn. Upperclassmen looked at us as though we were the ngreenestw crop of fresh that had ever passed through the portals of dear old Tabor High. F During our Junior year we gained two new members, mary Elliott and Phyllis Bownes. Our Junior and Senior banquet was held at the Fontenelle Hotel, in Omaha, Nebraska on April 22. During the year we gave our Junior Class Play'W1g- tailsn. After what seemed to be a long wait we received our class rings. Our Senior year was filled with happy experiences of every senior. During our first semester we lost one of our boys who has been with us since gradedays, Bob Morrow an old classmate moved to California. On September 18, we journeye ed to Shenoadoah to have our pictures taken. We look forward to uSkipday', Sen- ior play, Junior and Senior banquet, Baccalaureate, Senior Chapel and Commence - ment.
