Rev. Randy Shook Mr. Blair Berkley CHAPEL TIME The family unit is the most important structure in any society. Families that love the Lord and are serving Him always evidence warmth, love, and kindness. Home — areal home — is where one feels wanted, needed, and appreciated while receiving the encouragement, training, and discipline to be what God desires. Chapel time on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday is when Tabernacle Baptist High sits down together as a family. It is my privilege to preach to the “family”. Nothing is as challenging as the truths of Scripture. Paul admonishes Timothy, “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” The goal of every Christian should be to honor and glorify the Lord. It takes a lot of faith and encouragement to accomplish that. Good homes are filled with encouragement, and I pray and desire that “fam- ily time” at school will always be a time of preaching and encourage- ment. “Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, re- buke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” II Timothy 4:2. Pastor Shook
