Sunny Days Revue Plays Benefit For Tabb This exciting and entertaining group of young people with a really up-beat show gave three performances at Tabb High in April. The purpose was two-fold — to assist the Tiger Band earn money for their trip to Canada, and to help the Senior class complete the funds for the prom. The first half of the Sunny Days show presented different members of the ensemble performing his or her special talent, both vocal and instrumental. The second act was. a complete change of pace — more informal and perhaps more appealing to the high school students. The highlight of the evening was the oldies but goodies” portion of the show, featuring such favorites as Little Richard, Sonny and Cher, The Righteous Brothers, The Everly Brothers and who will ever forget Charlie Cheek as The Monster Mash.” The group also returned in May to entertain at the Senior Prom. 1 48 Sunny Days Revue

Seniors anxiously awaited the night of May 8th, the date set for Prom. At 9:00 that evening, couples began to slowly drift into the Bon Homme Richard to attend the last school dance.” Senior Superlatives were announced at 1 1 :00 and at midnight, a toast was presented to the Class of 76.” By 1 :00 the Fleet Room was once again quiet as seniors left to participate in the many planned and unplanned parties that would last throughout the night. But though the night came to an end, the memories would last a lifetime. Sunny Day Entertains At Prom Top Left: Couples danced till the last strains of Mahogany” were heard. Top Right: Others sat back to enjoy the music. Middle: Everyone wondered how Steve Smith kept his steady smile — until they saw the source.
