Saturday, March 28, 1976 was a memorable evening for many people. The Miss Tabb High Pageant displayed the spirit of the Bicentennial year through the theme, America the Beautiful.” Miss Tabb High 19 ' 5, Teresa Robbins and Senior Bruce Cunningham MCd the occasion. The tension heightened as the twelve contestants were introduced. The group danced to an appropriate song 1 Am Woman,” in addition to performing their individual talent. Other entertainment included Calvin Shakespeare Perkins and the Getdown People, Serenity and a comedy skit by Terri and Bruce. At a climatic moment the five finalists were chosen. They were Melody Hedrick, Donna Nuckols. Amy Shiffett, Kathy Rhodes and Cindy Behlmar who ' Was crowned Miss Tabb High. Cindy was also chosen Miss Congeniality by her fellow classmates. A reception was held after the pageant to allow everyone to congratulate the new Miss THS and her court. Miss Tabb High Contestants: Top Picture (left to right) Donna Nuckols. Although this year’s Senior Slave Sale was not a tremendous success money wise, it did raise underclass spirit. Many paid dearly for the privilege of sitting in the Senior Lounge and parking their cars in the Senior Parking Lot. It was hard to tell who had more fun, the underclassmen forcing Seniors to do humiliating acts or the Seniors following their orders. Seniors . . . Going Once, Going Twice 1 Middle: Siggy Jones, Mike Sarver and Ricky Stanley seemed to enjoy the laughs and stares they received throughout ' the day.
