! A Glittering Performance Is Put on With the Help of . . . Once again the stage was set for hilarity as Mrs. Pat Wright and Mr. Arthur Roach, directors of Midsummer Night’s Dream, teamed up with Miss Barbara Zalumus, technical director. With wit and ingenuity, the team of three transformed an outdated Shakespeare to one of today. With fairies running around in smocks of pink and blue and with a comedy team equal to the three stooges, the audience was caught up in the antics of a more fanciful age. Mix-up followed mix-up as first lovers than fairies and rustics fell in love with each other. After being resolved by a repentant Puck the entire cast retired to Shakie’s and continued the revelry into the night. Enthusiastic direaors . . actors and other comical characters. ! Fall Play 8S

Diane Vaughn Crowned Miss Tabb High The 1974 Miss Tabb High Pageant, spx nsored by the SCA, took place on Saturday Febraury 9, in the auditorium with Jeff Davis of WGH and Miss York County serving as MC’s. The twelve contestants in the year-old tradition were Mary Edwards, Jacqueline Swope, Jackie Adams, Kathy Wallace, Susan Whitaker, Grovia Hughes, Dawn Brumbelow, Andrea Orr, Veronica Knott, Theresa Lang, Diane Vaughn, and Kay Stokes. A deserving Dawn Brumbelow was voted Miss Congeniality by tbe girls. Interviews, talent and evening gown competition preceded the announcement of five finalists; Jackie Swope, who sang I Enjoy Being a Girl,” Andee Orr doing an original mcxlern jazz routine, There’s a Kind of Hush” was sung by Teresa Lang, Diane Vaughn played a classical piece on the piano, and Kay Stokes sang The Way We Were.” (Bt TTOM LEFT) Tcre.sa Lang — second runner-up.
