More students enroll tor Driver Ed despite rdnge cut The complete driving range was cut nearly in half by the new gymnasium-auditorium complex. This, of course, limited the range exercises, but did not hurt the appeal of the class. There was always a long waitin line for Driver Ed g . Many students took the course as a free period to practice the driving skills which would enable them to get their drivers' licenses and a discount in insurance rates. More than just straight back- ing and parallel parking were involvedg students learned the skills needed on today's over- crowded highways. Girls outnumbered boys in the crafts class, an unusual occurrence in the Industrial Arts courses.
