Upperolassmen celebrate traditional cSenior Days, SENIOR DAY . . . honoring the upperclassmen on their days .. . being auctioned off as slaves by Coach Mahin changing the traditional Senior Week having two separate Senior Days, one each semester beginning to feel senioritis coming on conducting a bake sale requiring the underclassmen to cooperate . . drawing lots for door prizes at the assembly . . . hearing the motto Seniors Rule . . , dress- ing comfortably . , . providing the entertainment of the Spokesmen . . . being rained on at the as- sembly giving well-deserved recognition to the 1969 graduating class. ywf-,N ww. Graduation - Budding of dreams turned to realities GRADUATION . . . tears running down a once childhood cheek . . . smiling faces . . . lumping throats hearts beating fast in anticipation for this special day realizing that you have been given the key to your very destiny grasping the opportunities of life lending yourself to humanity knowing now it is your turn to decide the course you will take the mark you will leave accepting the fact that youth is no more and maturity must follow involving yourself with universal problems . . . experiencing the wonderful feeling of being free, of being an American, of believing in your- self understanding that the hope of the world depends on you, for you are its future. l Even after Graduation study- ing still takes up plenty of time for john Beck, Kay Shaw, Alan Salmon, Nancy Tucker, Leo Matassini and janet Frier.
