Enforcement of rules enacted l the Senate is carried out through House Presidents, who act as representatives of their living centers. The increased number of these living centers, due to the increased en- rollment f women in the I niversity, has necessitated a more complex organization and a more intricate system of rules. Ten senators, elected annuall) from the various Hill colleges, to- gether with three ex-officio members, make up the personnel of the group. Officers are selected, and committees whose members are assigned to a particular activity, are appointed within the Senate. Among the chief duties are the supervision of class elections, class social functions, and men ' s rushing.
