They enrolled soon after graduation in '59 and Roger hasn't succeeded in teaching them the basic fox trot yet. Martha Akers has found her nick in life. She can be seen nightly doingm fan dance at the Flamingo. I noted that she uses economy size fans. Hum ---- that should be interesting. After Judith designs my new robe, I'm going to have Wm. Edward Fitzpatrick restyle my hair. He has quite a followm among the elite. One of his avid admirers is Lady Plushbottom the former Judy Thornburgh. If Bill can satisfy her, he'll do wonders wil:-me. Barbara Hoff spends most of her time in training so she will be in perfect-Rape to defend her title as Women's Wrestling Champ of the World. Right now she's a little under the weather, for the last time she picked up her dumbbell a weight fell off and crushed her toe. My wings were filled with flitter to see how successful Vernon Stokes and Walter Bone are. Vernon is a painter with Walter as his chief model. Vernon made Walter sit for hours holding a bowl of fruit for his last portrait. Walter was nowhere I-I ECJY to be seen in the finished picture, but the banana turned out fine. Mary Dobbins runs the snazziest hash house in New York Cityiyery night the place is packed with people, mostly men. I wonder if the attraction is the food or Mary? Judith was really surprised to learn that Richard James has been nominated for the academy award to the best male actor. His last performance as the monster in Frankensteins' Last Stand was superbly done. Joyce ling-y is taking her second honeymoon after thirty years of marriage. She feels she deserves the rest. It takes a lot of energy to raise twenty-five children. If Saint Peter ever has any trouble with winged horses we'll call in Lynn Carter and Bob Huser. They're tops in the veteri- nary field. Betty Schroll has established herself as a typical old maid. Pard-o-n-me. I mean bachelor girl. The only consolation she gets from life is watching television and trying out everything adver- tised. Her latest discovery is a pin curl permanent that won't friz her hair. lone Farr and Loretta Connor take time from their housework each day to read the stacks of mail they receive from lonely hearts. The girls have earned a world wide reputation for their sound advice to lovers. Francis Burch has mysteriously disappeared so my record book is far bE5Ei on her doings. I'll have to talk to Saint Peter about that! Jennie Stimatze, Mary Hayzlett, Teresa and Julia Marquez always did have a yen for travel. They are currently lost in the Sahara Desert. They took a wrong turn two weeks ago at the last palm tree. Clarence Long is now a barber and has organized a barber shop quartet tozw-Qrtain his customers. The music diverts at- tention from the terrible hair cuts Clarence gives. Susan Hatton finally reached her goal of being a registered nurse. The school neglected to teach Susan how to cope with patients like gy Goodwin though. He chases her up and down the halls shouting Revenge! Revenge! We had a hard time locating our classmates Jim Cole and Jim Combs. Its no wonder. They joined Uncle Smagggradu- man and are still privates. I have a postscript to add to their doings since then. The general, Arlo Lindsey has taken it upon himself to help his old pals. Heqal them promoted to ------ PLO's. In case you didn't know that is Permanent Latrine Orderly. Thirty-two seniors received diplomas from Syracuse High School on May 22, I959. After finding all in my Heavenly Record gf Earthly Doings I rushed Judith off to the Heavenly Home. I was anxious for my new robe. V . I , t, I Y,-,,, V ., 3 v bf .- I J TZ- , z - -.f ,is g 1.5 4 Q, 4 wh, , Smeg ' b C . K A s .hlikf ' ' ,xg . ..,:- . x s Q 3' r Q- .1350 A ,.,. . Arlo Lindsey was showing fine sprinting ability until he took the marriage route and had to drop from the squad. Bill Fitzpatrick was fighting the flu bug most of the season but still managed to pick up several points for the Bulldogs. He ran a fine 2:04 half mile in the state meet to place 7th among the 20 best in the state. Jim Combs was very consistent with his javelin throw and improved steadily in the high hurdles untilthe regional meet. He failed to get a good throw because of mud and thus missed the state meet. Larry Goodwin dida good job on any relay team. Roger Potter ran the half mile and picked up a very valuable first place in the league meet. These are the seniors that will truly be missed next year but a fine group of underclassmen should make next years team just as strong or even stronger. The Bulldogs placed second in our Syracuse Relays and the Hi Plains League meet for thei best showings of the year.
