For world service they sent clothes to needy families. Books were sent to boys overseas to read. Clothes were bundled for Save the Children Organization. Community projects were cleaning the post-office, and visiting sick at the hospital. School projects con- sisted of cleaning the trophies, guid- ing new visitors in our building, washing and ironing pinnies, and placing disposal units around the school lawn. Delegates were sent to the dis- trict conference at Jetmore. Attendants were Carol O'Connor, Janice Overton, and Bonnie Warner. Leon Glenn, captain of the team, crowned Laura at the half of the game with the help of Doral Trent. Jerrianne Thornburg won the title of cage queen on February Z8 at the Meade-Syracuse basketball game. The four other contestants were: Avis Pom- eroy, Virginia Holdren, Joyce Baker, and Suzanne Stewart.
