The Homecoming Dance was one of the high- lights of the year for the pep club. The night before the game an evening rally and bonfire was held. After the game with Plattsmouth everyone enjoyed a dance with the theme Dreamland . Although many girls practice with the hope of becoming a varsity cheerleader only six can be chosen. These cheerleaders are chosen in the spring of the year to give them time to organize and re- hearse yells for the following season. Each cheerleader attended a clinic at Wesleyan University. The purpose of this clinic was to enable these girls to acquire new yells and routines. The Reserve Cheerleaders elected in the fall help the Varsity Cheerleaders create more enthusiasm. E
