Goodbye. What a familiar ring that word has. We all use it every day to mean I'll see you later. and yet to me it has a far different meaning. It means that though Central, for the last two years, has given me a wealth of knowledge, and many happy hours with my classmates, the time has come for me to part with these hallowed walls, through which thousands of voices have rung in schoolish joy. Many are the hours I laughed, may the walls echo in their rinq: many are the friends I have made, may the floors repeat their footsteps as they hurry from class to class: and many are the times, that when I needed extra help, there were patient teachers, willing to help another soldier through the battlefield of life. Yes, the time has come to leave this hectic living and journey to a far better life. But as I leave each one of you, I won't say goodbye, I'll just say so 1ong. .
