T Ng 'R , if if Class 7 istory ln September '44 there marched in the halls of Central High a group of starry eyed students who were destined to become in three short years the most outstanding graduating class of Central. These students had come from various Iunior High Schools. Aram Iigarjian, hailing from Delaware, has taken part in many of school activities and has been an outstanding athlete. He certainly deserves the title of President. Other graduates owing allegiance to Delaware are Beverly Ross, Dick Nojeim, Sonya Cushing and Iohn Gelsomini. We have Tupper Lake to thank for our charming Vice-President, Joanne Bisson, who is also Vice-President of the Student Council. Other seniors from out of town are lovely red-haired Marjorie Gage, who seems to have made a hit with all the Centralites, and Nanette Samar, whose acrobatic dancing has enchanted us in many musical club shows. Earle Eason, who has been the cause of many of the practical jokes in the past year, came to us from Springfield, Illinois. Central has won many championships, thanks to some of our great athletes: Iohnnie Mar- tino, who won a scholarship to St. Bonaventure: rugged Dick Kane, who takes after his father lin sportsl: handsome Gene Vurbeff: our class athlete Mike Prokopiak, and our class president, Aram. Beverly Sherman and Pat Nalton were also very active athletes. It's a good way to keep fit, girls. Mike and Pat were awarded trophies for being outstanding in the field of sports. Tom Corcoran, our honored treasurer, is also President of Senate. Tom has a job on his hands but we know he will make good-especially since he has lovely little Margaret Prescott to cheer him on. Louise Simmons, our friendly Secretary, comes from Roosevelt. Everyone knows the library trio, Margaret O'Brien, Ruth Hart and Barb Blessing, also hailing from Roosevelt. Pop Walsh will have to organize a new band when the seniors leave. Anne Chappell is Pop's faithful pianist and has been awarded a scholarship for her ability at the piano. Others in the band or orchestra who are graduating: Sandy Freeman, Rosalyn Nichols, Ion Nicholson, Leo Dillabaugh, Bob Sandwick, Iean Fellers, Herman Friedman, lane Hilbert, Louise Simmons,
