Cczmzival i Everyone dashing madly and blindly from one building to another, upstairs, downstairs, yells for Booker, commotion, confusion, lunch served a la buffet, wires and lanterns being strung toand fro across the dining-room-what is the matter? It is nothing but the last minute rush before the Carnival. g And 'such a good time as We did have! The Follies fthe big showlj were held upstairs in the chapel, while the various and mysterious booths had transformed the dining-room into a scene of fun, laughter, and confetti. Confetti underfoot, overhead, and in the air-enticing Whiffs of perfume from one booth, delicious homemade candy in another, while the fortune- teller, novelty booth, and many others filled the remaining space. An ex- citing game of Bimbo was being played across the room, While odors of mustard and sizzling hot dogs filled the air. Hoarse cries from Minette and Estelle, barkers, encouraged the crowd in their fun. ,No one must miss the lovely tea room with its cake and ice cream. ' Not until a late hour did the last visitors leave for their homes, While the former actors, amid rumpled costumes and smeared .stage paint Wearily climbed the stairs to their rooms to thoroughly enjoy the much .deserved and appreciated f'Stop, Day on the morrow, ' Q S X ninety-fam'
