The Home Economics Club The Home Economics Club is open for membership to any girl who is inter- ested in this type of organization. The interests of the Club this year have been mainly along the lines of develop- ing skill in entertaining. The Club planned and served refreshments at a Faculty tea. They have in prospect as soon as the weather permits, aj' benefit garden party, the object being to raise sufhcient funds for other activities of the Club. They have charge of the plans for and the carrying out of an entertainment in connection with the annual art exhibit. The members not only derive pleasure in doing this work for their own benefits, but are interested in serving meals and refreshments to private parties. JQSX

A Programs of a varied nature were given throughout the year. Mathematical games and recreations such as magic squares and geometric and algebraic fallacies were much enjoyed. The lives of some prominent mathematicians were studied and the three famous problems of antiquity were discussed. One of the most interesting features was the reading of Flat- land, a mathematical romance which discussed the possibilities of a fourth dimension. The year's work' ended with a joint picnic, enjoyed by the club and the mathematics classes. XQSNX fifty-eight .Liang
