...--....--1... I ,X Y 1 X tc IULIAN C. STOY B.S. in ME., B.S. Bzzsilirm Mazzagca' One of the .most important steps Synodical has taken in its progress toward a greater college is that of the recent employment of julian C. Stoy as Business Man- ager. Mr. Stoy is widely known throughout the state not only as a very successful man in this type of work, but also as an expert in Field activities. This fact has largely been responsible for the marked increase in the school's enrollment for this year. His experience, however, extends far back in this line of work. After completing his high school work at the Academy of Richmond County, Augusta, Georgia, he re- ceived the degrees of HS. in MF., Mississippi Agricultural and Mechanical College, and BS. from the University of Missouri, he became a member of the faculty of Mis- souri Military Academy and afterwards of McMillan High School, Mexico, Missouri. Later he was chosen principal of the Chillicothe High School. In l9ZO he returned to Missouri Military Academy as principal. Three years later he took up his work as teacher and secretary of Hardin College. The rapid development of that school within the last few years has been largely attributed to him. From Hardin he came to Synod- ical early last fall to assume his duties as Business Manager. Not only is he proving himself of worth in managing the linances of the college, but he has placed himself high in the estimation of students and faculty through his spirit of whole-hearted cooperation toward school activities. Especially is this evi- denced through the loyal support which he gives to the Y. YV. C. A. and other organi- zations in the school. He often makes the chapel services both educational and en- tertaining since he has a special art of creating enthusiasm in others. It is by these qualities that he has won a warm spot in the heart of every Seminole. -----.M-. -..-.,.--ffQi S X - iwezzly-mic
