January 4-e Back to education. 7-The second number of the Artist Series at Williani Woods. Was11't Patsy clever? 10-Dr. Devine speaks in Chapel. 11-Another number of the Artist Series-a violin recital by joseph Szigeti. 23-Faculty tea. 28-Exams are over! A 31-Serenade-this time it's the Betas. February 1-4-Pleasant Hill and Napton Basketball teams are Synodical's guests. 4-Mrs. Margaret T. Russell is with us this week. Her talks are an inspiration. 7-Nelle Long, Laura Christian, and Frances Fox made Phi Theta Kappa. 14-Valentine Dinner-Dance. ' 15-Hell-week starts for the sorority pledges. 20--Everyone sees Tony Sarg's Marionettes at Pratt's Theatre. 21-Our annual Spring Reception took the form of a VVashington's Birthday Party. The dining-room was lovely with its antique furnishings. 22-Holiday. Everyone sees Les Miserables. March 3-This is the end of a very interesting and educational week of Mission Study at the Presbyterian Church. 5--Y. W. C. A. Carnival. Follies, Fortune telling, Bal- loons, Pennies, the Tea Room, and Hot Dogs. It takes all this to make an ideal carnival. 17--Faculty Tea. 31-There comes a pause in the busy year's work. Easter Holidays begin. April 10-Regular class work is resumed. 14-Beta Sig tea to Alumnae, Faculty and Student Body. May 4-The Masquers present Bimbo, the Pirate, and The Widdy's Mite. 21- Tulip Time, given by the choruses of Synoclical and VVestminster. 29-Finals ! ! ! June 3-Baccalaureate Sermon for Synodical and VVestminster, 4-Class Day-Mary Logan's graduating recital-the Art Exhibit and the Home Economics Exhibit. 5-Commencement! Alumnae luncheon. A. gives a jolly good swimming party for the new girls. 18-Opening sermon at Presbyterian church by Dr. Abbott. The Kiwanis Club takes us for a lovely drive in Fulton. 22--T he opening day of the hilarious Freshman Week. Poor Freshies! 27--Christian church gives an informal reception for the three colleges. October 7-We attend an informal reception at the Presbyterian church. 15-Pledge day for the three social sororities. 24-Student and Faculty Formal Reception+a big event of the college year. 27-Cheers for Westminster! A pep meeting before the big, game with Washington U. 31-Miss Wood engineers a realistic Hallowe'en spirit by means of a clever party. - November ' . 2-V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! S ynodical basketball team vs. Ashland. 5-The Y. W. C. A. gives another party. 21-The first number of the Artist -Course-a recital by Miss May Peterson. 24-A holiday and a big dinner made this Thanksgiving a red-letter day in Synodical. December 2-Our Faculty Recital displayed much talent. 6-Suspense reigns supreme in chapel until Mr. Stoy an- nounces that our Christmas holidays will begin the 16th. VV e weren't much excited-! ! ! I! . 7-Another Artist Series-a lecture by Lowell Thomas ' on his travels and experiences during the World War in the Orient. It was thoroughly enjoyed. 15-At 5 :OO o'clock the -Masquers presented The 'Cathe- dral Clock. The turkey dinner and program which followed were perfect. just one more night till vacation! 16-Homeward bound. JMX one liuniired' two
